You’ve opened the freezer, grabbed a tub of ice cream, rolled a fat cannon of Gelauto N°33, and somehow two hours have vanished while you’ve been staring at the rug, thinking, yeah, it really does tie the room together. She’s smooth, creamy, and hits with a grin before settling over you like your favourite blanket. Before long, everything’s making sense: the universe, the fridge light, even magnets.

Back in 2018, the Farm looked more like the dessert counter at a stoner diner than a grow room. Everyone was chasing Gelatos, Wedding Cakes and all things sugar-coated, so naturally, we grabbed a spoon and joined in. We cracked open a big grow-out of the most hyped photoperiod cuts and seeds of the time, from the heavy OG hitters to the glossy Gelatos that smelled like a sweet shop on a hot day. Out of that line-up, a number of strains stood out, but we couldn’t move on from Gelato 33 from Seed Junky Genetics. She had that perfect mix of creamy sweetness, sour funk and that slick Californian swagger you cannot fake. Think of her as the cannabis equivalent of a 99 flake melting on the pier; sticky, indulgent and completely irresistible. If Bubbles had found her, the cats might’ve been packing their own bags.

The Gelauto project began later that year with plans to kick off a full dessert-inspired series. Then life hit pause. COVID slowed everything to a crawl and turned what should have been a quick cone into a long, slow cure. When we picked the project back up in 2021, we had fresh eyes, more patience and a new respect for the process. What started as the first experiment in our Gelato line ended up as the final scoop, and that extra time in the freezer gave her real character. Like Dante said, “I’m not even supposed to be here today,” yet somehow that unexpected detour made Gelauto N°33 all the more satisfying. She is smooth, balanced and quietly confident, the kind of strain that earns her place on the Mephisto dessert menu without needing to brag.

To bring Gelato 33 into autoflower form, we knew we needed a partner that could really complement her. Sour Stomper was naturally the perfect choice. She brought extra frost, structure and that sharp funk that complements Gelato’s creamy sweetness beautifully. Together, they created the perfect balance of flavour, resin, and potency.

Gelauto N°33 is the cherry on top of the Mephisto sundae. She is large, frosty and unapologetically bold. Her flavours move from sweet cream and cranberry to diesel, spice, and a hint of smoked BBQ, with a refreshing menthol finish. Crack a jar and you are greeted with a wild mix of sour, spice, and sweetness that evolves with every whiff. It’s like Willy Wonka’s four-course meal gum, only this time the flavour’s fire, not fiction

Gelauto N°33 is all about feel-good vibes and full-body relaxation, slightly on the sedative side but never lazy, offering that perfect balance between function and float. It’s made for those evenings of pointless debates, like whether the Death Star had insurance or which one of you could get a toe by three o’clock this afternoon, with nail polish. It’s the ultimate daily driver for anyone who loves flavour, frost and a sweet finish. Just ask Jimbo; he unashamedly calls Gelauto N°33 his favourite strain of 2025.

Roll one, kick back, and watch it all come together. The Dude abides, and so will you.

She’s big, she yields hard, and she’s got a flavour profile that stands out from the whole Gelato crowd. Rich, complex and unapologetically indulgent, she’s the perfect evening companion without making you lose your edge. Need I say more? Oh, alright then.

In early development, Gelauto N°33 moves swiftly into vigorous vegetative growth. She favours a broad, open structure, forming strong laterals that rise evenly around a sturdy central stem. Node spacing sits slightly wider than average, lending her a natural airflow and an even canopy. She adapts well to light training, and while she seldom demands heavy intervention, subtle branch guiding or tucking will help shape her energy into a uniform tabletop form.

It should be noted that Gelauto N°33 has a bit of a propensity for mutations linked to her vigorous growth; we’ve observed several trifoliate and even tetrafoliate structures, as well as self-topping and double-branching from single nodes. Despite the mutations, plants still grow large and finish strong.

Nutritionally, Gelauto N°33 performs best under a measured, balanced regime. She responds favourably to a gentle approach through early veg, we personally maintain a water-only diet until around week 4. A gradual increase through mid-growth encourages steady development without oversaturation, and her appetite typically strengthens as flowering sets in. She can be sensitive to excess nitrogen, preferring moderation over abundance, and will reward consistency.

As she matures, Gelauto N°33 builds a dense, symmetrical frame with thick branches supporting clusters of compact, rounded flowers. Buds swell with clear Gelato influence, exhibiting a bract-heavy structure. Colour expression can range from soft mint green through to lavender and pink hues, often flecked with purple under cooler temperatures. Trichome coverage is extensive, blanketing sugar leaves and creeping onto the outer fan foliage, resulting in a striking, frost-laden finish that trims cleanly and cures beautifully.

Aromatically, Gelauto N°33 is a shapeshifter. During flower, she exudes notes of velvety cream and subtle berry underpinned by a faintly sour gas. Once dried, the profile evolves dramatically, releasing forward tones of brine and smoked meat intertwined with cranberry, anise and a cooling menthol creaminess. Ground flower reveals sharper layers of sour apple, spice and charred sweetness reminiscent of BBQ glaze, while the flavour translates directly onto the palate. Expect a complex interplay of sweet cream, sour fruit, diesel and spice, with a lingering coolness on the exhale that keeps the senses alert.

The effects of Gelauto N°33 strike a perfect midpoint between indulgence and clarity. Her onset is uplifting and mood-brightening, easing into a body-led calm that soothes without sedation. She settles the mind while keeping conversation and creativity close at hand, making her a versatile companion for both day and night. In larger servings, she leans into her indica core, offering a deeply relaxing, almost intoxicating weight that still manages to feel warm and good-natured. Balanced, flavourful and quietly potent, Gelauto N°33 delivers the kind of experience that leaves the room smiling long after the last bowl.
