We've been on the cutting edge of autoflower breeding work for over a decade now. All of our breeding work is done in-house; this gives us total control of all of the strains that we release into our catalogue, from start to finish.

From Mount Mephisto to the world.
Mitch & Tim first met while Mitch was in the first year of University studying design and Tim was doing nurse training
Mitch & Tim moved in to a house share together and started their first grow
The grows expanded and they started creating their first auto hybrids and improving existing lines to use as parents for what would later become higher quality Mephisto strains.
Mitch & Tim moved to the first farm in Spain to start developing their autoflower projects on a larger scale.
Later that year the chicken and piggies moved in, inspiring our Farm Friends branding.
The company name Mephisto Genetics was first introduced.
The very first Mephisto Original strains are released.
First soil boy joined the team.
First Mephisto Artisanal strains released.
First Illuminautos release.
First US based employee for local distribution.
Mitch & Tim were able to buy a property specifically for growing in Spain and moved the grow from the farm.
We added our first UK based employee, taking a little part of Mephisto Genetics back home.
Expansion continues as we gain our first Canada based employee.
After 7 years of strain creation, Mitch & Tim took a hiatus from new creation.
Growing restarts at the second farm in Spain.
With so many successful and popular Limited Edition and Illumunauto strains, we decided to breed them out to at least F3 and add them to their very own place in our catalogue - our new Reserva line.
The world gets flipped upside down and the farm shuts down due to local lockdowns in Spain.
After years of perfecting, Canna-Cheese 1:1 becomes our first CBD strain and is added to our new Medicinal line.
Lockdown restrictions ease enough for us to go back to full time growing and new projects starting.
