Cue the jazz, dim the lights, and pour yourself a double. Enter the belle of the bowl: Beary Berry Punch. She’s a shot of Seed Junky’s Wedding Punch with our own 3 Bears OG mixer, a velvet-gloved bouncer with a smile, sweetness and light up front with a wallop waiting in the wings.

Back in 2021, we did one of our largest photoperiod growouts to date. Amongst a sea of standout contenders, Wedding Punch lit up the joint with a super unique fruit punch aroma that sliced through the noise like a Louis Armstrong trumpet solo. Frosty as a bootleg gin still and built like a barrel-aged bruiser, she just needed an autoflower dance partner to join in the Mephisto Charleston.

Enter stage left: 3 Bears OG. Our go-to gentleman of structure, frost and density. While this bear’s made his mark across many a limited release, he’d only officially sired one Artisanal strain prior (Samsquanch OG). It was high time we uncorked that bottle of OG goodness and let it flow.

Beary Berry Punch brings jazz-age glam with modern muscle; she’s wide and stylish, with a fat central cola and a chandelier of satellite branches glistening like a showgirl's headpiece. With tight internodal spacing and a predisposition to pack on size, she’s perfect for those looking for high yields in smaller spaces. While she may start slow, Beary Berry Punch hits her stride mid-veg and doesn’t let up until the final curtain call.

Right out of the curing cabinet, Beary Berry Punch turns heads with deep purple buds, fiery orange pistils, and glistening trichome coverage. She has bag appeal like a flapper in full feathers. But it’s the aroma that’ll knock your flat cap off. Expect a wild bouquet: the front note is all fruity, boozy punch, a heady mix of berries and citrus, backed by a curious funk from the OG side. There’s a clean, sharp undertone, soapy, almost astringent, like the aftershave splash in a jazz club loo. But don’t be alarmed: it balances beautifully with the juicy sweetness, making it an oddly addictive blend. Over time, the sugary notes swell, and that bittersweet complexity mellows to perfection.

Low doses have her playing nice: a mood-lifting, body-humming strain that pairs well with card games and bootleg liquor. But take a few too many hits, and it’s lights out faster than a copper raid. A true indica-leaning girl with depth, flavour, and knockout potential.

Beary Berry Punch is a classic in the making. She’s the kind of dame you don’t forget, sultry, strong, and dangerously moreish. With structure like a prizefighter and flavour like a punchbowl on payday, she’s an Artisanal standout that’ll have you coming back for seconds.

A shorter, squatter variety with the densest nugs, bag appeal to die for and yields that will surprise everyone, Beary Berry Punch is a knockout strain in more ways than one.

Beary Berry Punch is a powerhouse-yielding, punch-forward bush of a plant, full of personality and a few quirks. In her early vegetative state, she spends most of her energy producing massive, 3 Bears OG style Jurassic fan leaves, before forcing herself upwards with vigorous growth through mid-veg and pre-flower. Her water intake is higher than you might expect given her height, but she likes to bush outwards, surrounding her main cola with a chandelier of satellite branches. Node spacing is reminiscent of her 3 Bears OG parentage, with only a few inches between each dense golf-ball-sized nugs nestled between purple-stemmed fan leaves and branches.

You can expect a “tacoing” of her leaves, curling upwards in a way not attributable to light stress. She’ll exhibit this genetic quirk on the tops with minimal occurrences on the lower canopy. It’s nothing to worry about, just a genetic quirk she exhibits across most phenotypes and won’t affect your growth, yield or flavour.

Senescence brings out the best in Beary Berry Punch, with a striking transition into deep lavender and plum tones as the flowering cycle wraps up. This vibrant colouring consistently appears in the sugar leaves and bracts, with purpling also showing in the upper stems and larger fan leaves. Structurally, she is rock solid, with thick stems and a sturdy frame, meaning she rarely requires external support, even when stacked with weighty buds.

We’d describe her as a leafy girl, in the sense that fan leaves are prolific. However, the bud development more than keeps up, delivering a dense, resin-rich flower with an exceptional, bordering on ridiculous, nug-to-leaf ratio. Defoliation of the upper canopy is recommended to maintain airflow and optimise light penetration, especially in tighter spaces.

From the jump, Beary Berry Punch captivates with undeniable bag appeal. Each nug is maximally dense, featuring deep purples and vibrant orange pistils. Visually, she is on par with Mango Runtz as an aesthetic GOAT. The contrast of purple and orange, overlaid with a dense canopy of shimmering trichomes. She’s a looker, no doubt.

Beary Berry Punch delivers a bold and unforgettable aroma, an intense blend of juicy, fruit-forward sweetness from its Punch lineage layered over a sharp, funky OG backbone. Expect loud, soapy floral notes with a uniquely clean, almost astringent edge that borders on overwhelming in the best way, think floral-smelling salts with a sugary twist. It’s a profile that commands attention from the first whiff.

Over time, the fruit punch character deepens as the cure progresses. The initial sharpness mellows, allowing the juicy sweetness to take centre stage while retaining just enough of that bitter, funky bite to keep it interesting. Given the high density of the buds, a thorough, slightly drier cure is recommended, especially for joint smokers, as Beary Berry Punch’s thick, anthocyanin-rich flowers can resist an even burn if not properly dried.

On the effects front, she leans heavy, offering a strong indica hit that blends a buzzing cerebral uplift with deep physical relaxation. In moderation, it’s great for winding down the day without losing functionality. Push the dose, and it quickly turns into a full-body knockout, ideal for sleep or deep relaxation. It’s a perfect choice for fans of OG potency and flavour who are after a sweeter, fruitier twist without losing the depth and weight of a classic.
